A normal EF is between 55% and 70%. Your EF can get better or worse based on how stable your heart failure is and how well your treatment for heart failure is working.
What are the last stages of heart failure?
In end stage heart failure, the body can no longer compensate for the lack of blood the heart pumps. A person with end stage heart failure may experience symptoms of cardiovascular disease, including :
- difficulty breathing.
- fatigue (lack of energy)
- abdominal pain.

- irregular heartbeat.
