Healthy living in your 50s

  1. Eat healthy — use the MyPlate Plan to get started.
  2. Get at least 30 minutes of physical activity.
  3. Get at least 7 to 9 hours of sleep.
  4. Reach and maintain a healthy weight.
  5. Get help to quit or not start smoking.
  6. Limit alcohol use to 1 drink or less.
  7. Not use illegal drugs or misuse prescription drugs.
