However, if you have a wireless Holter monitor, you’ll be shown how to disconnect and reconnect the sensors and the monitor so that you can shower or bathe. If the patch comes loose, you can add some extra tape (e.g. Micropore) or a film dressing (e.g. Tegaderm) to help stick it down. These items should be available from Boots, a local Pharmacy or large supermarket. Once in place, apply continuous pressure across the patch for 2 minutes to try and re-adhere it.
