Don’t bathe, shower or swim while wearing the monitor. Stay away from high-voltage areas, metal detectors or large magnets. The technician will show you how to keep a diary of your activities and symptoms during the test. It’s important to keep an accurate diary.
You will be able to carry out your normal daily activities BUT you must not get the monitor wet, nor use an electric blanket or magnetic underlay. The technician will instruct you on how to remove and re-attach the leads to allow you to shower. At the specified time you can disconnect the monitor yourself.
